ARR Desert Classic 30K, 5K and 30K Relay

RACE INFORMATION:
A 30K, 5K a 30K relay on an out-and-back course starting and finishing at Riverboat Village, 18300 West
Bell Road in Surprise. Registration begins at 7:00 AM. The race begins at 8:00 AM. For more

Entrants get a nice long-sleeved t-shirt.
The 30K race will have the usual 5-year age groups for awards. The relay will use 10-year age groups
(and the age group will be that of the youngest member of the team). There will be awards for female,
male and coed teams. A coed team must have at least 1 female runner on a 2- or 3-person team, and it
must have at least 2 female runners on a 4-person team.
The 30K relay will consist of two 5K and two 10K relay legs (5K-10K-10K-5K). Any deviation from the
order and distance specified means the team will be disqualified. A team can consist of from 2-4
members. Each member of the relay team needs to fill out a separate application. All entries for the
relay team should be mailed in one envelope.
There will be aid stations every two miles.

REGISTRATION:
- Thanks to the Arizona Road Racers Board of Directors, race entry is free for runners, age 17 and
under who register before December 19 (no shirt included). A
special kids entry form is available. Please fill out the form,
especially the parent/guardian's name and the waiver agreement. Once completed, submit the form.
- To register by mail, print off the attached form, print
it off and mail it in.

- Day-of-race is available. Payment via cash or check only

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS: Race day registration at Riverboat Acres, 18300 West Bell Road in Surprise
begins at 7 AM at the start line area. The 30k, 5K and first leg of the 30K relay begin at 8 AM.
