The ARR relies on its members to staff all of its races. That includes the volunteer who helped you register at the last minute on race day morning. And also that volunteer who handed you water at the turn around point. And of course that volunteer who sliced that bagel that was waiting for you when you came across the finish line. ARR volunteers are runners just like you who have rounded out their running experience by being on the other side of the registration table, water cup, or buffet line. Please consider volunteering at one of our races! There are many categories in which you can help. Activities range from the more skilled Race Director or event timing, to the more basic, such as passing out water or pre-race registration. All help is appreciated. In general, ARR needs volunteers to help with the following tasks at every race: setting up tables, signs, food, etc. morning of race registering runners handing out bibs, timing chips, and t-shirts manning aid stations removing chips from shoes at the finish line clean up and tear down at the end of the race The club is interested in your help and your energy!
