Board Meeting

The meeting was called to order at 6:13 pm at the Glendale Library.

Minutes from the March 2008 meeting were approved.

Old Business
Volunteer report -- gave out volunteer bucks at YMCA 5K. Give Ron LeDesma volunteer bucks for DC Marathon
need volunteers for LOD and SS

Cheetah report -- bibs to arrive on Thursday with Claudia. Need speaker system. Back to the original
course. Diane’s hair looks nice. People agree it makes her look fast.

Registration report -- Red chip owner bibs. Should be okay with supply of white bibs

Special activities report -- Need more first aid kits. Have one at the start/finish. Discussion about
medals

Finance report -- $17000 in the bank

Membership report -- Down another 15 in number of memberships. Down 20 in actual members.

Clothing report -- Hats for luck of the draw. Discussion of summer series shirt design. Megan will miss a
couple summer series. Xcart software has been purchased but issues with installation


Thanksgiving Day brochure quote -- Done. Need approval from Jon Richardson

Luck of the Draw Drawing -- Ask Robert about aid station

Ahwatukee Foothills YMCA 5K -- Everything seemed to go well.

"Mustang Marathon" -- Despite some stumbles at the beginning, things went well

Pat's Run -- Club ended up with no involvement.

Peoria Relay -- Phil Davis will be substituting for Bill Rowell.

AZ FOP 5K -- Cancelled because of cost of police and barricades.

New Business
Weiner Dash -- Scheduled for May 3. Will have weiners and soda

Survey Discussion -- In general things are okay. There are a few things that we could do better with.

Summer Series -- Meeting with Parks Department to discuss staging of races
