Meeting was called to order at 6:33 P.M.

The meeting agenda was adopted and the minutes from the previous Board Meeting were approved as
corrected.

FINANCIAL COMMITTEE REPORT
Chairman Robert Huotari reported a current bank balance of $10,713.08. In addition $4,410.80 is
ready for deposit.

PRESIDENTIAL REPORT
Steve reports the revised web site will be operational around the 30th of next month.
Members will be able to log in using their membership number as a password and inquire about or
change their memberships. Running logs and shoe logs will also be available. Steve also reported on
current contracts to time races such as Heart and Sole Run, Valley of The Gold, Night Run for The
Arts, Everyone Runs, Cheetah Run, and April Fools Run.

CLOTHING REPORT
Ian has the shirts ready for our Desert Classic Marathon.

OLD BUSINESS
Robert Huotari chairman of The Financial Committee reported on the progress of the design for our
new membership applications. Three new designs were presented to the Board for their perusal and
approval. Additional changes will be discussed at the February Board meeting. Registration for The
Desert Classic is good. The awards are taken care of and once again Tom Baker is creating the
fantastic overall awards. Gary Culver Race Director for Crown King reported on progress and the
packet pick up dinner at Bill Johnson’s.

NEW BUSINESS
A motion was made to accept Hal Gensler, chairman of The Race Committee as a new Executive Board
Member and Treasurer of ARR. The motion was then seconded and unanimously approved. Welcome aboard
Hal and we will now refer to you as Mr. "T." Crown King Scramble 2007 will once again be an ARR
event. Discussion relating to entry costs for Summer Series 2006 followed. A public relations
committee consisting of Robert Huotari, Ian Thomas and Phil Davis was established.  A power point
presentation about and relating to ARR will be created.
