South Mountain Classic 20K and 5K, October 18, 2009 |

Join the Arizona Road Racers in running the South Mountain Classic 20K and 5K. Registration is
at the South Mountain Activity Center. Take Central Avenue south directly to the park entrance. Turn
left just after the park entrance. For more information or if you would like to volunteer, please
contact the Arizona Road Racers hotline at (602) 954-8341. This will be timed using the ChampionChip.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
- Race day registration begins at 6:30 AM.
- The 20K starts at 7:30 AM and the 5K begins at 7:40 AM. The 5K course USATF Certification
Number is AZ06014GAN. The
20K course USATF Certification
Number AZ06018GAN.

REGISTRATION:
- Thanks to the Arizona Road Racers Board of Directors, race entry is free for runners, age 17 and
under who register before October 16 (no t-shirt included). A
special kids entry form is available. Please fill out the form,
especially the parent/guardian's name and the waiver agreement. Once completed, submit the form.
- To register by mail, print the
entry form (need Adobe Acrobat Reader to read this),
fill it out, sign it and mail with payment to the address on the form.
- To register via Active.com, select the following:
- Day-of-race is available. Payment via cash or check only

AWARDS:
- 20K Run: Awards will be presented to the first three finishers, male and female, in the
following age groups: 19 & under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64,
65-69, 70 & over.
- 5K Fun Run/Walk: First three finishers, male and female, overall.
