14th Annual ARR Desert Classic Marathon, Half Marathon, 5K and 2-Mile Fun Run February 2, 2008 RACE INFORMATION: A marathon, a half marathon, 5K and 2-mile fun run starting and finishing at Riverboat Village, 18300 West Bell Road in Surprise. Registration begins at 6:00 AM. The marathon and half marathon races begin at 7:00 AM. An early start is available at 6:00 AM as long as you notify the race director prior to race day. If you have not surpassed the half marathon point by 10:30 AM, you will be pulled from the course. There will be aid stations every 2 miles. The marathon, half-marathon and 5K races will have the usual 5-year age groups for awards. The 5K and 2-Mile Fun Run races begin at 7:20 AM.
